About the Program

Blake Buzz is Blake High School's premier TV & Film production program. We don't just teach students how to point a camera — we train them to concept, produce, and deliver broadcast-quality content that competes at the national level.

From motion graphics to live production, our students learn the full pipeline. The result? Work that looks like it came from a professional studio, not a high school classroom.

We compete in the Student Television Network (STN) and other national competitions, going head-to-head with programs across the country.

Our secret weapon? A combination of industry-standard tools, relentless creativity, and the kind of fearless energy that only comes from teenagers who haven't yet learned what's "impossible."

Meet the Team

The faces behind the broadcasts. Approach with caution.

Cisco Betances

Executive Producer of Confidence

Walks into the studio like he owns it — because mentally, he does. Cisco doesn't second-guess a shot, a cut, or a life decision. The team's unshakeable anchor when deadlines hit.

Keegan McDaniel

Chief Technical Overlord

6'2" of pure technical knowledge and questionable facial hair choices. Keegan knows every keyboard shortcut ever invented and will tell you about all of them. Unprompted.

Anthony Clarke

Director of Visual Standards

The only crew member who color-coordinates his outfit with the set design. Anthony brings the same obsessive eye for detail to his wardrobe as he does to every frame. Drip is non-negotiable.

Jasmine

Head of Operations & Mystery

The enigma of Blake Buzz. Jasmine keeps the production running while revealing absolutely nothing about herself. Efficient, focused, and impossible to read — exactly how she likes it.

The Visionary

Mr. Joe Papadopoulos

Some educators teach from a textbook. Mr. Papadopoulos teaches from the future. As the architect of Blake Buzz, he saw what a high school broadcast program could become — and then simply refused to accept anything less.

Under his direction, students don't just learn production — they learn to think like creators, solve problems like engineers, and present like professionals. The results speak for themselves.

"Stay hungry. Stay focused. And for the love of God, check your white balance."
